170mm Gyuto forged from 1084/1520 Damascus carbon steel pattern welded by fellow maker Collin Maguire with an etched hand pulled finish. Edge geometry is ground flat to convex and is very thin behind the edge. This featherweight Gyuto is well suited for small work and breaking down larger ingredients as well. Handle is Spalted Maple. Suitable for all hand sizes with the possible exception of rather large hands. Ships with saya made from Poplar.
