230mm Gyuto in Shichi Mai (7 layers) featuring a stainless clad 52100 carbon core steel with carbon and nickel shim stock in between. Handle is shaped from dyed curly Maple and built around a fiberglass frame. Geometry is flat ground to zero and very aggressive. Overall balance is slightly blade biased with firm heft and a curiously comfortable handle designed for a pinch grip. Suitable for most hand sizes with the possible exception on the larger end of the spectrum. Ships with a saya made from Sycamore wood.
